Solid option for Korean comfort food but would not recommend sitting outside on a cold day because their heat lamps do not work well :( We sadly made the mistake and were freezing for the whole dinner and couldn't be moved inside because of the long line. The tteokbokki sauce was really good, decently spicy, and came packed with veggies which I loved. Soondubu was quite spicy and came with a good amount of meat. Both went really well with bowls of rice (free). Seafood pancake was pretty good but i've had better (it was slightly burnt and needed a bit more flavor) - good amount of seafood packed into it though, and the sauce was great. Free banchan, but it came out at the same time as the food we ordered, which was a bit weird. Service was quite slow and we weren't checked on for the entire meal until the end (maybe because of our outdoor seating, we were forgotten) but the workers are all very nice. Pretty good prices given the typical prices for Korean food California. Spent around $30 for 3 dishes between 2 people.

The restaurant is small but they do their best to cram as many tables inside. There is also a few tables outside that are next to heating lamps. Usually always a wait when you go for dinner. I tried their seafood pancake ($16), bibimbop ($17), and spicy chewy noodle. Portion size was okay. Food was very good and it tasted pretty authentic to me. Service was really fast and our food came out quick. The banchan was really good also. The prices are higher than what I'm used to in LA but it's hard to find Korean food in SF so they do price it pretty high. The restaurant itself is aesthetic and clean with a minimalist design. Overall, happy with my experience!

I came here with some friends for dinner. The food is really good Korean food, prices are fair. We ordered a seafood pancake to share and I thought the pancake was delicious. My dish, which was the bulgogi set, was also really good. The restaurant is quite small, so this wouldn't be good for a large party; however, if it's 2-4 people, I think this is a great spot to eat at. The service was fine as well.

Really nice Korean spot in Sunset! We had a large group and they were super accommodating. We shared family-style so I was able to try a variety of dishes (Dolsot bibimbap, spicy pork, galbi tang, japchae, and fried dumpling). The bibimbap had perfectly crunchy rice and a good ratio of toppings to rice. The spicy pork, fried dumpling, and japchae were really good as well. But I think the galbi tang might have been the best dish-- the broth was super flavorful and the radish soaked in all the flavor. I definitely want to come back here!

ok i happened to be around the area so i'm ready to finally give manna a chance after they remodeled. and i'm back. i stan again. BUT ONLY when it's not busy which is rare. i came on a weekday for a lunch at 1pm and i just got super lucky where there was no wait at all so i got a table to myself and the restaurant itself was a bit slower. service was good since it wasn't a rush hour and that it was nice and clean, thank god. no flies. bless. food. the tofu soup was lovely and fabulous and the side dishes was great. i love the radish and so i just really took my time to enjoy my food for nearly 45 mins without feeling rushed. good pricing for food and service so i'll return again to try if their kimchi fried rice and/or get the tofu soup when it's not busy. again i won't go out of my way to come here but only when i'm around the area but you're back on the roster manna :)

Tucked away in the Inner Sunset, Manna is a charming little Korean restaurant that feels like a neighborhood staple, especially popular on weekends and colder days. While parking can be a challenge with only street or meter options available, the effort to find a spot is well rewarded. The restaurant, although small, creates a warm and homey atmosphere. Due to the cozy size, be prepared to dine in close quarters as tables are less than a foot apart. This setup adds to the bustling, lively vibe, enhanced by the swift and attentive service. It seems to be a family-run establishment, where even the owner is actively involved, checking on diners and efficiently managing orders to expedite service, including allowing us to order before being seated. The food at Manna is a highlight, offering comforting and hearty Korean dishes. The banchan, simple yet tasty, perfectly complements the main courses. The soft tofu stew was delightfully spicy, ideal for a chilly day, while the Yukgaejang was seasoned just right, offering a satisfying level of heat. Portions may initially appear modest, but they are surprisingly filling--my party could barely finish our meals. Overall, Manna delivers a fulfilling dining experience with its friendly service, cozy ambiance, and delicious, authentic Korean food. It's a perfect spot for anyone looking for a genuine taste of Korea in the heart of San Francisco.

I been here 4 times in the last 3 weeks because of one dish and it is the Cold Buckwheat Noodles. My newest obsession. There is something about this dish, even in cold weather, it warms your soul. Ha! Dramatic, I know. It is refreshing, very light, alil tart but sweet and savory at the same time. Make sure you ask for vinegar, pour some in and it will be amazing. Only thing missing is some sliced pears. I know Manna has been a staple for some many SF residents and I understand by but I hate waiting. If there is a line, you know something is good. Also, the restaurant is small. They do have outdoor seating but its the sunset, its cold!! They do have heater lamps but I rather just wait to sit inside. I like their chicken wings, both flavors are good. Everything else is your average Korean spot but that is good enough for me. Service is always friendly too.
